Graphic Design
Graphic design is everywhere. It lurks in book covers, magazines, billboards, product packaging, commercials, and websites. It can pass unnoticed by many who see a pretty image and a catchy slogan without realizing the time, effort, and skill needed to create it.
First and foremost, be original. Graphic design is a means of getting a message to a mass audience, but in order to do that you'll need to get their attention in a way that no one has ever done before. In this module you learn Creativity, Be a Good Listener, Communicate Effectively, Drawing/Sketching, Awareness of Art History and Design Theory.
There is a few prerequisites for graphic design module.
- You should have a working knowledge of your computer and Operating system.
- Know how to use the directory system of your computer so that you can navigate through folders.
- Understand how to locate, save, and open files.
- Know how to use your mouse to access menus and commands.
- Navigate the workspace and learn to use the windows and palettes
- Crop, size and select parts of an image
- Work with layers to add text and effects
- Adjust hue, color and saturation
- Retouch photos, including red-eye, skin tone and minor imperfections
- Remove backgrounds and composite multiple images
- Save your image for print, web or video
- Automate repetitive tasks
